Intel Gamer Days Sale Offers Discounted Gaming PCs and Two Free AAA Games at Walmart
Walmart is running a promotion tied to Intel Gamer Days, featuring discounts on gaming PCs. The deal also includes two free upcoming PC games, each valued at $59.99 at launch. The sale aims to attract gamers looking for hardware and software savings.
The promotion runs until September 13, offering two upcoming titles—Star Wars: Galactic Racer and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis—as free vouchers with qualifying Intel-based systems. While multiple retailers participate, Walmart currently features the steepest discounts across desktops and laptops.
Notable Walmart listings include a CyberPowerPC desktop with an RTX 5070 for $1,399 and a Gigabyte AORUS Master laptop with an RTX 5090 for $3,599. The bundled games, valued at $59.99 each at launch, are scheduled for October and February releases respectively.
This bundled hardware-and-software offer could entice casual gamers to upgrade their rigs, potentially boosting PC sales during a typically quiet late-summer period. The inclusion of two high-profile titles may also shift consumer expectations, as buyers increasingly look for value-added bundles rather than standalone hardware purchases. However, the high price points of the discounted systems might limit the promotion's reach to enthusiasts with disposable income, leaving budget-conscious players unaffected.
