Best Bargains of August 12: Switch 2, Marvel Game, and LEGO Sets
A roundup of notable discounts includes Marvel Cosmic Invasion for Nintendo Switch, LEGO Animal Crossing sets, and the Switch 2 console. Additional savings are available on an RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC and Bose headphones. These deals are active as of August 12, 2026.
The featured Switch title blends beat 'em up action with roguelite mechanics, sending players across iconic Marvel locales like Wakanda and Genosha. Meanwhile, the LEGO Animal Crossing set offers two customizable homes that can be stacked, complete with three animal villagers and seasonal decorations. The discounted Switch 2 is a certified refurbished unit, inspected to show only minor cosmetic wear.
Beyond gaming, the roundup includes a high-spec pre-built PC with an RTX 5070 Ti, heavily discounted refurbished Bose headphones, and several other game and collectible markdowns. All listed prices reflect availability on August 12, 2026.
These daily discounts could significantly lower the barrier to entry for gamers seeking premium hardware or popular titles, potentially expanding the audience for current-generation consoles and PC gaming. The availability of refurbished items may also encourage more sustainable purchasing habits. However, the relentless pace of such promotions might inadvertently drive impulsive spending among collectors, as limited-time savings create a sense of urgency that could outweigh careful budget planning.
