Court backs ruling that Albany's acting U.S. attorney lacked legal standing

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a January decision disqualifying John Sarcone as acting U.S. attorney for the Northern District of New York. The panel found he was not lawfully serving when he issued a subpoena to New York Attorney General Letitia James's office last year.
