Dashcam Shows Police Directing Uber Driver to Join Foot Pursuit

Officers had been responding to a terroristic threat call, with allegations the suspect threatened to shoot a woman and her children over a belief that someone had stolen from him. The suspect fled as officers attempted to detain him outside an apartment.
Police confirmed the video's authenticity, though the suspect was never located and his identity remains unreleased. Baines later acknowledged his involvement on social media, noting he simply complied with the officers' requests in the moment despite being surprised by the unusual request for civilian assistance during an active pursuit.
