Justices split 6-3 to allow federal voter list order

The Supreme Court voted along ideological lines to lift an injunction blocking parts of the Trump administration's executive order on mail-in ballots. The order seeks to create a federal list of eligible voters and direct the Postal Service to deliver ballots only to those individuals. States including California have pledged to file new challenges.
