James Park and Eric Friedman, who previously co-founded Fitbit, have introduced an LTE-enabled wristband called Luffu Link that tracks physical and mental health metrics without requiring a nearby phone. The device supports voice logging, location sharing, and one-touch alerts to trusted contacts, and it complements a companion app that uses AI to detect patterns and flag changes for family caregivers. Pre-orders are open at $250, with shipping expected in early 2027.
