AFC South Teams Unveil Special Rivalry Jerseys for 2026
The Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans have revealed their new 'Rivalries' uniforms from Nike and the NFL. The Colts will debut theirs on Sept. 27 against the Texans, with the Jaguars, Titans, and Texans following in later weeks. These uniforms are part of a four-year rollout and will remain in rotation for three seasons.
The AFC South's uniform rollout follows a staggered schedule across the season, with each team debuting its look in a divisional matchup. Indianapolis opens the cycle at home in late September, while Houston closes it out in a Thursday night contest in November. Jacksonville and Tennessee slot in between, ensuring each franchise gets a standalone spotlight moment.
This initiative represents the second phase of a league-wide program that began with the AFC East and NFC West in 2025. The remaining divisions will receive their versions over the next two years, and each set of jerseys remains in active rotation for three seasons after introduction, meaning the AFC South looks will stay visible through the 2028 campaign.
These uniforms could deepen fan engagement by giving supporters a tangible, limited-time product tied to divisional matchups, potentially boosting merchandise sales and game-day atmosphere. The staggered rollout may also heighten anticipation across the league, as each division's reveal becomes an event in itself. However, the impact is largely commercial and cultural rather than competitive, affecting how teams market themselves and how fans express loyalty, without altering on-field dynamics.
