AEG Unveils Plans for 4,000-Seat Concert Hall in Austin's Riverside District
AEG Presents has announced a new 4,000-capacity venue called United Heritage Hall, slated to open in spring 2027. The hall will anchor the River Park mixed-use development on Austin's east side, near downtown and the airport. AEG is partnering with United Heritage Credit Union, Westfield, Partners Group, and Presidium on the project.
The venue will occupy roughly 65,000 square feet and take design cues from 1920s Art Deco architecture while aiming for a forward-looking atmosphere. Its programming is expected to span major touring acts, emerging performers, and local Austin musicians, with amenities including luxury suites, VIP seating, and premium hospitality spaces. AEG Presents vice president Robin Phillips emphasized the collaborative effort behind the project, while United Heritage Credit Union president Michael Ver Schuur framed the hall as both a nod to the organization's seven-decade history and an investment in the region's cultural future. The announcement follows AEG's broader expansion efforts, including a recent partnership involving air taxis at L.A. Live.
