Tadej Pogacar won stage four of the Vuelta a España in Andorra with a solo attack from 50 kilometers out, finishing 2 minutes 38 seconds ahead of the field. Pogačar’s 50-kilometer attack marked his 37th career Grand Tour stage win and the largest margin of victory he has ever posted in a three-week race. The chase behind him saw Felix Gall, Oscar Onley, Primož Roglič, Enric Mas, and Sepp Kuss trade moves before being reeled in, with 20-year-old Jarno Widar taking second. Pogačar now leads Roglič by 3:21 overall, while also topping the points and mountains classifications. Wednesday’s stage five into Roquetes is expected to favor sprinters.
