Lindell misses recount payment deadline, files for restraining order

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell failed to pay for a private recount of Minnesota's gubernatorial primary by the Aug. 24 deadline and now plans to seek a restraining order against Secretary of State Steve Simon. His campaign argues that restrictions on the recount, which would only cover the top two Republican candidates, violate state law. The secretary of state's office confirmed it received no payment and does not plan a recount.
