Pakistan and Iran Report Advances in Bid to Halt U.S.-Iran War

Pakistan's interior minister announced that talks with Iranian officials in Tehran yielded significant progress toward ending the U.S.-Israeli conflict in Iran. The delegation, led by Pakistan's chief of defence forces, discussed measures to prevent the war from expanding and to restore navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran and Oman also unveiled a plan for a temporary navigational corridor and joint mine-clearing efforts in the waterway.
