Instagram’s auto-editing tool trims Reels prep to under 10 seconds

Instagram is introducing First Draft, a feature that automatically cuts selected clips and removes pauses to produce an initial Reels edit in less than 10 seconds. The tool is rolling out on iPhone and can be accessed from the camera or Reels gallery, aiming to simplify video creation for less experienced editors.
