Lewis Uvwo, a 6-foot-10 forward ranked among the top 10 prospects in the 2027 class, will make an official visit to Kentucky on Sept. 11. Uvwo impressed at Peach Jam with his shot-blocking, averaging 6 blocks per game. He has received offers from several major programs, including Baylor, Duke, and Kansas.
Uvwo's rise is remarkable considering he has played basketball for only a few years. His shot-blocking at Peach Jam, including games with ten and eight blocks, helped establish him as the premier defensive presence in the 2027 class. He averaged 11 points, 9.4 rebounds, and six blocks over seven games.
Kentucky is among his newest scholarship offers, along with Providence and North Carolina.
