Giftcards.com Promo Code Cuts 10% Off LEGO eGift Cards, Making Minas Tirith More Affordable
Giftcards.com is offering 10% off LEGO eGift cards with code ENDLESS10, allowing buyers to save on the $650 Minas Tirith set. The promotion has no apparent limit, but only three gift cards can be used per purchase, so buying three $216.66 cards gets the discount. The set is currently on backorder at the LEGO Store.
The promotion requires careful math to maximize savings on the $650 Minas Tirith set, since LEGO's checkout system caps usage at three gift cards per transaction. Buyers can purchase three cards at $216.66 each, bringing the total to roughly $650 before the 10% discount applies. Individual cards max out at $250, though the site allows custom amounts, and the code appears valid for up to 50 cards per customer.
The Minas Tirith set is currently on backorder at the official LEGO Store, meaning orders will not ship immediately. As a LEGO Exclusive, it is unavailable through third-party retailers. Gift cards purchased through this promotion never expire, so buyers can hold them until the set restocks, and the large purchase price likely qualifies for a complimentary gift-with-purchase offer at checkout.
This deal could make a premium collector's item more accessible to dedicated LEGO and Lord of the Rings fans who might otherwise balk at the $650 price point. The indirect discount strategy may also signal a growing trend of third-party retailers offering creative workarounds for exclusive product pricing. However, the backorder status and multi-card purchasing requirement could create friction for casual buyers, potentially limiting the promotion's reach to only the most committed enthusiasts.
