Netflix announced a new Korean action-noir series starring Lee Jung-eun and Kim Moo-yul, with Lee playing a septuagenarian who takes up arms after her grandson is attacked. Directed by Lee Kwon of 'A Shop for Killers,' the show follows her investigation into the powerful Chunghwa Group. The series is produced by Studio Dragon and also features Huh Joon-ho and Choi Sung-eun.
Lee Jung-eun, widely recognized for her supporting work in acclaimed Korean cinema including Bong Joon Ho's "Parasite," steps into a leading action role for the first time. Her recent film "My Daughter Is a Zombie" performed strongly at the domestic box office, while co-star Kim Moo-yul's Netflix series "Teach You a Lesson" drew substantial global viewership earlier this year. The pair previously shared screen time in "Juvenile Justice."
