Pollack Partners with On3 for Podcast in 2026
Former Georgia standout and ESPN analyst David Pollack is teaming up with On3 for his podcast 'See Ball Get Ball' ahead of the 2026 college football season. The podcast has over 38,000 subscribers, and Pollack will continue producing episodes twice weekly. Pollack previously spent years on ESPN's College GameDay before being let go in 2023.
Pollack's playing résumé at Georgia remains among the most decorated in program history. He earned All-American honors twice, claimed SEC Defensive Player of the Year in both 2002 and 2004, and still holds the Bulldogs' career sack record at 36. A first-round NFL selection in 2005, his professional career lasted only 16 games before a neck injury forced him off the field.
After his playing days ended, Pollack transitioned into broadcasting, working local radio in Georgia before stints with CBS and ESPN. He joined "College GameDay" in 2011 and remained a fixture until his departure in 2023. His independent podcast, "See Ball Get Ball," has since attracted more than 38,000 subscribers with twice-weekly episodes, and the On3 partnership positions it for further growth entering the 2026 season.
This partnership reflects a broader shift in sports media, where established analysts increasingly bypass traditional networks to build direct audiences through independent platforms. Fans gain more varied voices and formats, while figures like Pollack gain creative control and revenue opportunities outside corporate structures. The move may also signal to younger analysts that podcasting offers a viable long-term career path, potentially reshaping how college football commentary is produced and consumed in the coming years.
