Freedom and fellow ex-NBA player Royce White have declared for the WNBA draft, identifying as women, but league sources say they are ineligible. The WNBA’s collective bargaining agreement restricts rosters to women without specifying gender identity or sex assigned at birth. Separately, Alter confirmed the team is identifying fans who threw sex toys onto the court during Friday’s game.
