London's robotaxi service faces delay as TfL guidance remains unpublished

Uber and Wayve, which had planned to launch self-driving taxi rides in London later this summer, now appear unlikely to do so this year. Transport for London has yet to issue the regulatory guidance needed for companies to apply for approval, and its director of strategy said the authority is not rushing to publish it. More than 100,000 Londoners have joined the waiting list for the service, while Zagreb recently became the first European city to offer autonomous rides, albeit with a human monitor.
