Sunderland targets Grealish loan with potential permanent move

Sunderland has submitted a loan proposal to Manchester City for midfielder Jack Grealish, with City expected to cover part of his wages and a possible permanent transfer next summer when his contract ends. The 30-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Everton, has appeared only as a substitute in City's first two matches this season. Sunderland is also pursuing Marseille winger Igor Paixao, though no club-to-club agreement has been reached yet.
