Anthropic secures $45 billion in AI compute from Nscale in latest infrastructure push

Anthropic has signed a six-year deal to rent about $45 billion worth of AI compute from British infrastructure provider Nscale, using Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips. The capacity, expected to come online in late 2027, will power Anthropic's services from a West Virginia data center. This follows a series of similar compute agreements with Volta, AMD, SpaceX, Amazon, and Google as Anthropic races to match rivals like OpenAI.
