Veteran Forward Bonner Joins Dream for Final Postseason Push

DeWanna Bonner, a 17-year WNBA veteran, has agreed to a buyout with the Phoenix Mercury and will sign with the Atlanta Dream for the rest of the regular season and playoffs. The 39-year-old cleared waivers after the Mercury were eliminated from playoff contention. Bonner, who has averaged 13.2 points and 6.8 rebounds in playoff games, is expected to make her 16th postseason appearance.
