Fonda defends Ruffalo's criticism of Paramount merger

Jane Fonda issued a statement through The 1A Committee defending Mark Ruffalo after Paramount accused him of using antisemitic tropes. Fonda called the accusation a smear intended to distract from criticism of the Warner Bros. merger. She was joined by producer Bruce Cohen, who said false accusations of antisemitism are used to silence legitimate political criticism.
