Celtics Exec Expects Brown's No. 7 to Be Retired

Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Brad Stevens said it is likely that Jaylen Brown's No. 7 jersey will be retired by the franchise. Stevens made the remark while discussing the difficulty of trading Brown, who was a key part of the 2024 championship team and a five-time All-Star. Brown was dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason in a trade that brought Paul George to Boston.
