Colts activate Pierce from PUP, receiver returns to practice

Indianapolis is removing Alec Pierce from the physically unable to perform list, allowing the wide receiver to practice for the first time since ankle and heel surgery in March. Pierce, who signed a four-year, $114 million deal in March, is expected to be available for the Colts' Week 1 game against Baltimore. He led the NFL in yards per reception in each of the past two seasons.
