Manchester United's Zirkzee in talks for loan move to Fiorentina
Fiorentina are negotiating with Manchester United for a season-long loan of forward Joshua Zirkzee, with an option to make the move permanent next summer. The Netherlands international has struggled for regular playing time at Old Trafford, making only five Premier League starts last season. Zirkzee arrived at Old Trafford from Bologna for £36.5m in 2024 after being named Serie A's Under-23 player of the season. Fiorentina are pursuing a season-long loan with a purchase option for next summer, though both sides acknowledge a deal is not imminent.
