Mexico City's new Park Hyatt opens bookings for spring 2027

The Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco has begun accepting reservations for stays starting April 1, 2027. The 30-story property will feature 155 guestrooms, 38 suites, and 27 private residences, with interiors designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos. Amenities include a rooftop pool, a spa, and multiple dining venues inspired by Mexican cuisine.
The property occupies a 30-story tower in Polanco, one of Mexico City's most affluent districts, with the hotel portion spanning lower floors while 27 private residences sit above. Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, the third-generation Mexican firm behind the design, has incorporated a rotating contemporary art collection featuring works by Damián Ortega and Michelle Aubert throughout the public spaces.
Dining will span four indoor and outdoor venues focused on regional Mexican cuisine, while wellness offerings include a rooftop pool and a spa drawing on traditional Mexican treatments. The hotel sits directly beside Chapultepec Park, giving guests access to its museums, gardens, and trails. Standard rates begin around $931 nightly, with award bookings ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 World of Hyatt points per night at this Category 6 property.
This opening could signal growing confidence in Mexico City's luxury hospitality market, potentially influencing how major hotel brands allocate resources in Latin America. Affluent leisure travelers and business visitors may gain a new premium option in Polanco, while local residents might see increased tourism spillover into surrounding neighborhoods. The property's points-based accessibility could also broaden its reach beyond traditional luxury demographics, though pricing may still limit who can realistically experience it.
