Oldenburg Fest Opens with Unconventional Nature Documentary

The Oldenburg Internationales Film Festival will open with 'Strange Neighbors,' a documentary without narration or interviews. Directed by cinematographer Mi Steinbach, the film was shot over three years on Schwarztonnensand, a small island in the Elbe river. It marks the first time a documentary has opened the German indie festival.
