Monarch who opened up Norwegian royal family passes away at 89

King Harald V of Norway, Europe's oldest serving monarch, has died at age 89. He was the first Norwegian king born in the country since 1370 and married a commoner despite his father's opposition. He was known for his approachability and was related to both Swedish and British royal families.
