Twins Top Prospect Jenkins Gets Emotional Call-Up to Majors
Walker Jenkins, the Minnesota Twins' top prospect, is being promoted to the major leagues and will debut against the Chicago White Sox. After returning in June, Jenkins performed at an elite level, batting .411 with a .488 on-base percentage and eight home runs across his first 18 August games. His parents, Clay and Tana, were present when he was drafted fifth overall in 2023 from South Brunswick High School in North Carolina.
