Jayhawks to Host Pair of 2027 Forward Recruits for Official Visits

Kansas will welcome four-star forwards Malachi Jordan and Jalen White for official visits the weekend of Sept. 11-13. Jordan is ranked No. 23 nationally by 247 Sports and has Kansas in his top eight, while White is a 4-star prospect also considering Mississippi State. The visits come as the Jayhawks continue to build their 2027 recruiting class.

Jordan's September itinerary includes a USC visit the weekend before arriving in Lawrence, with subsequent trips to Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and UConn. He transferred from Dream City Christian in Arizona to Prolific Prep, the same program that produced former Kansas standout Darryn Peterson. His top-eight list, released in July, included the Jayhawks.

White, ranked 109th nationally, also has a Mississippi State visit scheduled for October. Kansas has not confirmed an offer to White. These visits follow the Jayhawks' loss of Javon Bardwell's commitment earlier this month, and the program has already hosted German guard Fabian Kayser and point guard Antonio Pemberton since the recruiting dead period ended.
