Seaborn's Four Touchdown Passes Power Thompson Past Rival

Quarterback Trent Seaborn threw four touchdown passes, including two of more than 40 yards, as top-ranked Thompson erased an early 7-0 deficit to defeat second-ranked Clay-Chalkville 37-13. The Warriors scored 37 unanswered points and improved to 2-0, strengthening their case as Alabama's premier team. Seaborn connected with Maryland commit Mason McClure and Arkansas commit Darion Moseley for long scores.

Thompson's victory over Clay-Chalkville followed their season-opening win against Central-Phenix City, giving the Warriors two wins over formidable opponents. Clay-Chalkville entered the matchup having defeated Creekside (GA) the previous week. Seaborn's four touchdown passes included connections with two college commits — McClure (Maryland) and Moseley (Arkansas) — covering 47 and 56 yards respectively.

Cowley added a 15-yard touchdown reception late in the first half, marking his second consecutive game finding the end zone. Thompson's defense has been particularly strong after halftime, outscoring opponents 37-6 in second halves across both games. The Warriors host Vestavia Hills next week, while Clay-Chalkville faces Springville.
