Netflix Orders Fourth Season of Shane Gillis' Comedy 'Tires'

Netflix has renewed the comedy series 'Tires' for a fourth season. The show's third season recently reached its highest-ever position on the streamer's Global Top 10 English TV list, landing at number five. Co-creator Shane Gillis and his team will continue the story of the Valley Forge auto repair crew.
The renewal arrives as the show's third season climbed to its strongest global performance yet, ranking fifth on Netflix's English-language TV chart in mid-August 2026. The series has accumulated over 45 million views across its first three seasons, according to the streamer. Production takes place at a real tire business owned by co-creator Steve Gerben's father in suburban Pennsylvania, lending authenticity to the workplace comedy setting.
The pickup follows a broader creative partnership Gillis and McKeever signed with Netflix earlier this year, which also includes two new stand-up specials for Gillis. Their production company, Dad Sick Productions, previously produced Gillis's special "Beautiful Dogs." The show's guest cast for season three included Andrew Schulz, Bobby Lee, and Thomas Hayden Church, among others.
The show's continued success may signal sustained audience appetite for working-class comedy with an unpolished, improvisational feel. Its rising viewership could encourage streaming platforms to invest in creator-driven partnerships rather than single-season pickups, potentially stabilizing careers for comedians who thrive outside traditional sitcom formats. The renewal may also reflect how niche regional settings can resonate globally when executed with authentic voices.
