Jackery's Latest Portable Power Station Offers 11 kWh Capacity and 1800W Output
Jackery's new HomePower 1000 Plus v2 portable battery provides 1,800 watts continuous power and can be expanded to 11 kWh with five additional packs. It uses LFP cells and a cell-to-pack construction for durability and lighter weight. The unit is designed for home, outdoor, and worksite use.
The unit's cell-to-pack architecture, borrowed from automotive engineering, integrates battery cells directly into the structural frame, which trims weight to 23.8 pounds and shrinks its footprint to roughly the size of a small cooler. Jackery rates the LFP chemistry for 6,000 charge cycles and backs the system with a five-year warranty, while the built-in battery management system monitors voltage and current stability, cutting power automatically if irregularities are detected.
Beyond its four AC outlets, the device includes a 140W USB-C port, a 30W USB-C port, an 18W USB-A port, and a 12V DC plug, allowing direct power for laptops, routers, and other electronics without separate adapters. A 10-millisecond UPS switchover delivers pure sine-wave output for sensitive gear, and 3kV surge protection guards against spikes. An integrated LED light offers steady illumination or an S.O.S. flash pattern.
This product may broaden access to reliable backup power for households, remote workers, and small tradespeople who previously relied on generators or bulky battery systems. Its expandable capacity and UPS capability could reduce downtime during outages for sensitive electronics, while the lighter design may encourage more frequent portable use.
