Central Florida Football Weekly Honor: Vote for the Best Player

High School On SI has selected 15 nominees for the Central Florida football player of the week award. Standout performances include a game-winning field goal and a 246-yard rushing performance. Voting closes on Sept. 6.
The 15 nominees span multiple positions, including quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, a kicker, and a defensive back, showcasing the diversity of talent across the region. New Smyrna Beach's Todd Cutler Jr. delivered the most statistically dominant rushing effort with 246 yards and four touchdowns, while Innovation's Nathan Swann provided the week's most dramatic finish with a game-winning 32-yard field goal as time expired.
Several nominees guided their teams to their first victories of the season, including Evans quarterback William Jackson and Eau Gallie's Joseph Allen. The previous week's winner was Lake Nona quarterback Elijah Nickerson, honored for a Hail Mary touchdown pass. Voting remains open until Sept. 6, with the next winner announced the following week.
