Yankees Add Reliever Schreiber to Bolster Bullpen

Schreiber's waiver claim came after the Royals designated him at the end of last week, and the Yankees moved quickly to secure his services before Tuesday's roster expansion to 28 players. In his debut, he entered for the ninth inning with the Yankees protecting a four-run lead and retired all three Angels batters he faced in order, finishing a 7-3 victory.

The right-hander's Boston tenure was notably productive, with a 2.90 ERA across 111 appearances and 3.5 bWAR. His production dipped in Kansas City, where he accumulated just 1.1 bWAR in 188 games. The Yankees' bullpen has been stretched
