Belkin expands power bank lineup with large-capacity and solid-state options

Belkin introduced several new power banks at IFA, including a 22,000mAh model with a retractable cable and 65W output, plus a smaller 11,000mAh version. The company also unveiled semi-solid-state battery packs with reduced swelling risk, including a slim magnetic model and a 10,000mAh unit with dual USB-C. Additionally, Belkin launched the SureFind line of tracking devices.

The new UltraCharge models target different usage scenarios: the 22K version with its 65W output and retractable cable is positioned for powering laptops and tablets, while the 11K variant suits phone-only charging. Both arrive in early September at $100 and $60 respectively, placing them in the mid-range segment of the portable charger market.

Belkin's shift toward semi-solid-state battery technology marks a notable safety-focused design change. The BoostSolid architecture incorporates a gel-like layer within the electrolyte to mitigate swelling and fire hazards—a common concern with traditional lithium-ion packs. The Slim Magnetic model's credit-card footprint and 8.8mm thickness make it unusually portable, while the 10K version adds dual USB-C output and live monitoring. The SureFind tracker lineup, ranging from $15 to $40, expands Belkin's accessory ecosystem into the location-tracking space with four distinct form factors.
