Coalition Releases Accessibility Blueprint for Film Festivals After Toronto Assessment

The disability advocacy group 1IN4, named for the over one in four U.S. adults with disabilities, has published a 15-page guide on accessibility best practices for film festivals. The report stems from a 2023 evaluation at the Toronto International Film Festival, where a nine-member team with diverse disabilities assessed everything from web presence to event spaces. Their findings propose actionable solutions for improving inclusion across festival operations.
