Van Helden Headlines Sydney Warehouse Event Series

The Works returns to Carriageworks for a multi-date run spanning December and January, with Armand Van Helden leading the New Year's Eve bill. The lineup also features Overmono, Jayda G, KI/KI, and several other electronic acts. The series kicks off with a sold-out Pegassi set on Dec. 5 and closes with KI/KI on Jan. 9.
The series marks a return to Carriageworks for Finely Tuned, a promoter operating since 2006 with a portfolio spanning festivals like Lost Paradise. The upcoming run features six distinct dates, beginning with a fully booked Pegassi marathon on December 5th and concluding with KI/KI on January 9th.
Headliner Armand Van Helden brings a storied chart history, while Jayda G boasts a Grammy nomination and a Peabody-nominated documentary. Overmono, the Welsh duo, gained recognition following their 2023 debut album, and KI/KI is known for her high-energy acid and techno sets.
The multi-date format could significantly boost Sydney's nightlife economy by attracting both local attendees and international tourists during the holiday season. It may also strengthen the city's reputation as a hub for electronic music, potentially encouraging further investment in warehouse-style venues. Additionally, the mix of veteran headliners and newer acts could help cultivate a diverse audience, fostering cultural exchange within the local music community.
