Indie Dystopian Comedy 'Littermates' Lands Wide Theatrical Run and Festival Premiere
Scott Tinkham and Michael Woloson's indie feature will open at over 30 Alamo Drafthouse locations on Nov. 6 through Alamo Exclusives. The film also gets a special presentation at Fantastic Fest on Sept. 20, followed by a conversation with the filmmakers and cast. Shot in just 15 days, it stars Joey Bader, Kaylee McGregor, Oliver Woolf, and Jack Redmayne.
The film's theatrical rollout is scheduled for early November across more than three dozen Alamo Drafthouse venues, following a special Fantastic Fest premiere in late September that includes a post-screening Q&A with the cast and crew. The production was remarkably efficient, completing principal photography in just over two weeks.
Tinkham penned the screenplay, while Woloson handled both cinematography and editing duties. The project was produced under the banner That's The Fish, with a musical score composed by Noa Margalit and executive oversight from Haley Nicole Johnson. The ensemble cast features Joey Bader, Kaylee McGregor, Oliver Woolf, and Jack Redmayne, with several of them also taking on producing roles.
This wide release via Alamo Exclusives could signal a growing trend of boutique theater chains directly championing micro-budget indie films, offering them a viable alternative to traditional studio distribution.
