Nintendo Unveils Gold and Green Zelda Switch 2 for Franchise's 40th
Nintendo announced a special edition Switch 2 console with gold and metallic green Joy-Con controllers, featuring sprite art of Link and Zelda. The console launches October 29, a week before the Ocarina of Time remake, but does not include the game. Matching accessories like a carrying case and Pro controller will also be available.
The special edition console features a dual-tone metallic finish, departing from the all-gold design used for the 2024 Echoes of Wisdom handheld. The hardware bundle deliberately excludes the Ocarina of Time remake, which must be purchased separately. A matching carrying case with screen protector, Pro controller, and gamepad stand will launch simultaneously on October 29.
