DocuSign is launching an MCP Server on September 30 that lets AI platforms like ChatGPT and Slack access agreement intelligence directly. Beta partners such as Experian and Slalom have already seen benefits, and the move builds on DocuSign's API-first platform.
The server extends DocuSign's two-decade-old API-first architecture to let AI agents pull context from historical negotiations and corporate policies. This integration connects directly with enterprise systems like Oracle and Salesforce, with Salesforce having recently honored DocuSign as its Partner of the Year for facilitating unified sales and contract workflows.
Early adopters, including Experian and Slalom, report operational gains. However, the transition requires an initial time investment and a learning curve for staff.
