Walmart Offers Discounted MicroSD Express Cards for Switch 2 Storage Expansion
With the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, Nintendo Switch 2 owners may need additional storage. Walmart is currently offering the Onn 512GB MicroSD Express card for $84.77 and the 256GB model for $46.77. The Switch 2 only accepts MicroSD Express cards, and these deals provide a cost-effective way to expand the console's 256GB internal storage.
The Switch 2's expansion slot is exclusively compatible with MicroSD Express, rendering older cards from previous consoles useless. These Onn models offer transfer speeds up to 800 MB/s for writes and 600 MB/s for reads, ensuring quick loading for demanding titles.
