Nick Mohammed Takes on Hosting Duties for West End 'Traitors' Adaptation
The actor from 'Ted Lasso' has been announced as the host of 'The Traitors – Acts of Betrayal,' a stage adaptation of the popular competition series. The production, written by John Finnemore and directed by Robert Hastie, will consist of five separate plays that each compress a full game into one sitting. Previews are scheduled to begin at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in May 2027.
The casting announcement was made through a recorded message from original television host Claudia Winkleman, who formally inducted Mohammed into the role. Studio Lambert and Neal Street Productions are the companies behind this theatrical venture, with John Finnemore penning the script and Robert Hastie directing.
The stage version is structured as a quintet of distinct plays, each designed to condense an entire competition—from traitor selection to the ultimate reveal—into a single performance. The production will reside at the Gillian Lynne Theatre on Drury Lane, with its first preview scheduled for May 11, 2027.
