FX's 'The Shards' Announces 16-Track Soundtrack Featuring Troye Sivan and Hayes Warner
The FX and Hulu series adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's novel will release an original soundtrack on Interscope Records on Oct. 16. The 16-track collection includes original songs by Troye Sivan, series star Hayes Warner, and producer Leland, along with score pieces by Morgan Kibby and David Klotz. Warner will drop two singles, 'Baby' and 'Seriously,' ahead of the full album.
The soundtrack arrives just over a month after the show's nine-episode first season concluded on Hulu. Interscope Records will release the collection digitally on October 16, with pre-saves currently available on Spotify and Apple Music. The album pairs six original songs produced by Leland with ten score cues from composers Morgan Kibby and David Klotz, all mastered by Ken Sluiter.
Series star Hayes Warner will preview her contributions with two singles: "Baby" drops September 25, followed by "Seriously" on October 2. The project marks a significant musical expansion for the Ryan Murphy-produced series, which adapts Bret Easton Ellis's 2023 novel set in 1980s Los Angeles.
