Wednesday Expands Bleeds With Remixes and Demos

The band Wednesday will release a 20-track deluxe edition of their 2025 album Bleeds on September 18, featuring remixes by Avey Tare, Fire-Toolz, and DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ, along with demos and an early version of a song. The expanded set coincides with the album's one-year anniversary. Wednesday also announced a joint tour with Mannequin Pussy starting in late October.
The deluxe edition arrives on Dead Oceans and pairs the original 12-track album with eight additional selections. Beyond the three announced remixes, the tracklist includes a Gouge Away version of "Wasp" and a Joe Harvey-Whyte reworking of "The Way Love Goes," alongside two demo recordings. The "June 2 (Early Version)" track was produced by Kenneth Blume, who also worked with Hartzman on her recent Weezer collaboration.
Wednesday's touring plans pair them with Mannequin Pussy for the Bitch Cabal Tour beginning in late October. The original Bleeds album was ranked No. 1 on Pitchfork's list of the 30 Best Rock Albums of 2025, giving the expanded release added significance as a year-end retrospective.
Fans of Wednesday gain a deeper look at the album's creative process through demos and early versions, while the high-profile remix contributors could introduce the band to new audiences across electronic and experimental music scenes. The deluxe format may also sustain interest in Bleeds well past its first year, potentially influencing how other rock acts approach anniversary reissues. For the touring circuit, the joint dates with Mannequin Pussy could draw crossover crowds and strengthen both bands' live followings.
