Finneas had been scheduled to perform at six South American shows on Sheeran’s Loop tour, spanning late November into early December. His exit follows similar moves by opener Aaron Rowe and Irish band Beoga, who cited historical parallels between Ireland’s own struggles and the Palestinian cause. Macklemore’s dismissal came after pro-Palestine statements at MetLife Stadium on September 4 and 5. He later accused billionaire Robert Kraft of pressuring stadium owners to ban him. Sheeran has said the removal was not his call and that he attempted to intervene.
