Pipedrive's Nova AI Automates Meeting Notes and CRM Updates for Sales Teams
Pipedrive has made its AI meeting intelligence tool, Nova, generally available to all users at no extra cost. The tool prepares for calls, transcribes discussions, and suggests CRM updates, reducing manual administrative work. Early adopter Snug reports saving 30 to 60 minutes per sales meeting for its six-person team.
Nova is now available globally on all Pipedrive plans at no added cost. The tool handles pre-call preparation by pulling deal history and past emails, then records and transcribes meetings through integrations with Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. After calls, it generates summaries and suggests CRM record updates.
Pipedrive's research indicates sales professionals spend substantial time on non-revenue activities, with 42% of surveyed workers devoting at least 40% of their day to administrative tasks. Snug, an Australian property technology firm, reported saving 30 to 60 minutes per meeting for its six-person sales team during early testing. The tool includes configurable consent settings for recording conversations.
Nova could meaningfully shift how small sales teams allocate their time, potentially reducing the administrative drag that keeps salespeople from prospecting and closing. If the time savings reported by Snug prove broadly replicable, smaller organizations may gain competitive ground against larger rivals with more support staff. However, reliance on AI transcription and CRM automation may also raise questions about data privacy and the accuracy of automatically generated records, which businesses will need to weigh as adoption grows.
