Delta One Suites, introduced a decade ago, were the first business-class cabins with closing doors on every seat. They are currently available on the Airbus A350-900, A330-900neo, and Boeing 767-400ER, though the 767 lacks a true door. Delta plans to retrofit its older A330s with these suites later this year, expanding their availability.
Delta's suite rollout has been gradual, with the A350-900, A330-900neo, and 767-400ER currently carrying the product. The airline operates 41 A350-900s with varying suite counts, 39 A330-900neos with 29 suites each, and 21 retrofitted 767-400ERs featuring 34 suites. Notably, the 767's seats match the suite footprint but lack a true closing door.
The carrier plans to retrofit 42 older A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft starting later this year, though no timeline has been announced. Additionally, 20 A350-1000s are on order with deliveries beginning in 2027, featuring 53 suites split between a main forward cabin and a smaller rear section.
This product expansion could reshape premium travel expectations, as Delta's suite rollout pressures competitors to match privacy features on transatlantic and transpacific routes.
