The RTX 5090 system, priced at $4,299, undercuts the cheapest standalone RTX 5090 card available on Amazon, which sells for $6,699. This means buyers receive a complete computer—including processor, power supply, RAM, and storage—for less than the cost of the graphics card alone.
Nvidia has been combating scalping through its Verified Priority Access IRL program, which debuted with the RTX 4090 and resumed for the RTX 5090 and 5080. These in-person retail events at QuakeCon and PAX West sold cards at MSRP to verified buyers. The Walmart listings suggest CyberPowerPC obtained Founders Edition cards at standard pricing, enabling the steep discounts during GeForce Week.
