Samsung TV Plus Adds New Creator-Led Channels Including Fearne Cotton's Happy Place

Samsung TV Plus has signed deals with creators to launch new channels and expand existing ones. In the UK, channels based on Fearne Cotton's wellness podcast Happy Place, golf brand Golf Life, and Joe Media will be added. In other regions, Luke Nguyen's World will feature over 95 episodes of the chef's series.
The new UK channels arrive through a partnership with 208 Studios, a production company that has previously worked with digital talent. Happy Place extends Fearne Cotton's established wellness brand, which began as a podcast and has since grown into a broader lifestyle franchise. Golf Life brings together sports personalities from different backgrounds, including a former professional footballer.
Luke Nguyen's World targets multiple Asian-Pacific markets simultaneously, bundling nine series into a single free ad-supported channel. The deal reflects a growing trend of FAST platforms licensing existing library content from celebrity chefs, who have proven reliable draws for food-focused programming across international territories.
This expansion could reshape how audiences discover niche content, particularly wellness and lifestyle programming, without traditional subscription costs. Free ad-supported channels may broaden access to creator-led material for viewers who have cut cable or avoided streaming fees. The international rollout of Luke Nguyen's World could also strengthen cultural representation in food media across Asia-Pacific, potentially influencing how regional audiences engage with celebrity chef content. However, the long-term viability of creator-driven FAST channels remains uncertain as competition intensifies.
